Google Analytics

If you're a webmaster, you probably already know about the benefits of Google Analytics. It's a free application from Google that allows you to access invaluable visitor data; it can show you how much traffic your site gets, as well as a visitor's behavior. Basically, it's a useful tool when you want to see where visitors have come from - a pay-per-click advertisement, an organic link, digital collateral like links in PDF documents or from your email marketing campaign. So, how do you get set up Google Analytics for your email newsletters?

Google Analytics must be set up via your Gmail account. Once you have opted in, use the tracking code that Google Analytics supplies for you and paste it between the header and body tags in the pages of your website. Then, in your GraphicMail account, enable Google Analytics. If you have further questions, watch the above video. After your next GraphicMail newsletter send tracking will begin only if the newsletter recipients click on a link that sends them to a page on your site.
