GraphicMail API Overview
The GraphicMail API (Application Protocol Interface) is a way of interacting with your customer database, CMS, CRM, or e-commerce shopping cart with your GraphicMail data. It offers you a world of possibilities.
Benefits
The main benefit of the GraphicMail API is to control your GraphicMail account from your own website/system/product without having to log into your GraphicMail account. The different API functions update data in real time. E.g. if you sync your customer database into GraphicMail, you won't have to constantly import your updated lists into GraphicMail and then export them into your system. They'll both automatically be "in sync". You can sync your campaign stats too, as well as remote control the sending of your HTML email newsletters from within your own interface.
The never-ending possibilities:
- Web designers can create private label "client portals" where they can log in to grab campaign stats (case study)
- Add a "Subscribe to our newsletter" option to your shopping cart, checkout page or, for that matter, anywhere on your website.
- Pass purchase or other historical data into GraphicMail, create list segments, and send targeted campaigns
- Publishers can sync the subscription status of the email addresses into GraphicMail and/or sync emails to their block list, ensuring that only the most up-to-date subscribers receive emails
- Link send reports and stats to your internal database for "behavioural targeting"

Basic Details
Our API provides you with the tools you'll need to manage your lists and view statistics from your sends. You can connect into our API using simple HTTP POST or HTTP GET. The response is either text or xml, depending on which function you used.
There are currently six sets of functions covered by our API:
